Medupi is a Sotho name describing a specific type of rain. Pula ya Medupi (or Medupi for short) comes down softly and abundantly bringing prosperity and growth with it.

Medupi Properties was founded on 12 September 2018 by Martha Mmoledi. The company is named after Martha’s maternal grandmother Mamedupi.

Mamedupi passed away when Martha’s mom was only six years old so it was important for Martha to honour both her mom and her grandmother. Martha’s mom had an extremely difficult childhood and that turned her into a hardworking and dedicated woman today the principles she instilled in her children. The logo depicts a woman with a baby on her back which encapsulates the family history and also the history of so many families in South Africa.

Medupi Properties’ main purpose of existence is to connect buyers and sellers during the selling of a property and ensure that the transfer process goes seamlessly for all parties without undue stress.

Medupi Properties offers consultancy services to homeowners wishing to sell their properties quickly at market-related prices. We offer end to end professional services in the property sales space in collaboration with highly professional conveyancers, mortgage originators and so forth.
